A couple of weeks ago, we had two guest speakers at school from Rosetta. Toni Hess is an Executive Creative Director, and Gary Scheiner is a Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer. Here’s what I got out of what they had to say.

Great ideas start with insights of the brand, consumer, and market place.
We need to ask questions.
Don’t accept the status quo.
Search for the human truth.
Great ideas happen outside of the box.
Creative people need parameters.
Great creative is all that maters.
In the real world, impact is all that matters.
Direct marketing sucks.
Technology changed the game.
The first year of your career will suck.
Here’s a photo Ralph Budd snapped of Vail with Toni & Gary from that presentation.
